DAVIDSON, N.C. — Closing out its home schedule for the 2016-17 season, Davidson will play host to Fordham Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in an Atlantic 10 women's basketball matchup inside John M. Belk Arena.
The Wildcats (5-20, 3-10 A-10) are seeking to make it two straight at home after earning a 74-64 Senior Day victory over the weekend vs. Rhode Island. Fordham took the first meeting this year on its home court, 85-72, despite the 'Cats putting four scorers in double figures.
OPENING TIP: Quick Hits
•Davidson is in its 38th season and has collected 420 wins in program history.
•The 'Cats are in their third year in the Atlantic 10 after a 21-year run in the SoCon.
•Davidson returns eight letterwinners and three of its five starters from last year's 11-19 team.

•Piles hauled in a team-high seven rebounds to go with three steals. Ransom in her first career start scored eight points and dished out three assists, while Seymour hit a personal-best 4-of-9 shots for a season-high eight points and assisted on four other baskets.
•Davidson pulled away with a 15-6 run to go up 65-49 late in the fourth quarter.
•Justine Lyon had a game-high 26 points on 12-of-23 shooting. The sophomore took over in the second quarter by drilling home 8-of-10 shots and a free throw for 18 points.
•Mackenzie Latt had 12 points, while Chloe Johnson came off the bench for a career-high 10 assists.

•Latt is or will be ranked in the top-15 all-time in the record books during her third season. The junior became the 19th Wildcat to reach 1,000 points this year and currently sits in 11th with 1,128.
