Sargent Earns Second A-10 All-Academic Honor

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the second straight season, David Sargent of the Davidson men's golf team has been voted to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office Monday.
A native of Cornelius, N.C., Sargent graduated with a 3.439 grade point average in mathematics.
On the course, Sargent led the Wildcats with a 74.64 stroke average this season. In addition, the two-time all-conference performer finished with five rounds of par or better, while finishing a personal-best fourth in the Davidson College Invitational.
A four-year starter, Sargent finished his career with a 75.19 stroke average.
