LEXINGTON, Va. – The Davidson wrestling team dropped a Southern Conference match at VMI Wednesday night, 37-0.
Dustin Runzo put up a fight at 133, but couldn't overcome Dominick Gallo and dropped the bout by a score of 4-1.
Konner Pritchard kept it tight against Derek Thurman, but ended up yielding a 4-3 decision to Derek Thurman.
Will Cooley fought hard at 285 pounds, but it wasn't enough as he dropped a 3-2 decision in overtime.
Davidson returns home Sunday, Feb. 7 to host The Citadel at 1 p.m.
