Davidson Lands 58 Wildcats on PFL Honor Roll

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Davidson football team landed 58 Wildcats on the Fall 2015 PFL Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Friday.
The Pioneer Football League recognized a record number of 616 student-athletes from its 11-member institutions.
Davidson ranks fourth with its 58 honorees, while Dayton and Butler became the first programs to have 80-or-more student-athletes named in a year. Dayton saw 81 Flyers to receive the honor, while Butler had 80 named to the list.
Pioneer Football League athletic director and coaches established the honor roll as a way to recognize the league's outstanding student-athletes. The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the fall semester and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full-time in accordance with NCAA rules.
