DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson plays host to the Radford Highlanders in its second home game of the season Saturday evening at 7 p.m. on the hardwood inside John M. Belk Arena in women's basketball.
The Wildcats (0-3) are playing the first of two Big South teams Saturday, with the second team being High Point later, Dec. 7, at home.
Game Promotions ...
The Wildcats will be wearing purple warmup t-shirts as they partner up with the Project Purple organization. Project Purple is 501(c)(3) not for profit organization with a mission of raising awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Our ultimate goal is to see a cure put us out of business in the next five years. Sadly the statistics are staggering. Pancreatic cancer is the 4th largest killer of all cancer killers and the least funded of the top 10 cancers. It is also the only cancer on the top 10 list with a single digit survival rate after 5 years.
You can also participate in a GOPurple Contest where you can post your best purple pictures during the week on social media and you could be a winner. Make sure tag us and use the Project Purple hashtags projectpurple and #GOPurple. Winners will be selected every Friday by Facebook vote.
