DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson opening weekend tennis matches have been canceled due to the winter snow and ice storm that hit the area. The Wildcats' match Saturday vs. Gardner-Webb will be rescheduled for a later date.
Today, the Sunday match vs. UNCG was officially canceled as well and will be made up at a later date.
Davidson, which is opening the season on a five-match homestand, will now have its season opener next Friday, Jan. 29, against Furman. Match time is set for 5 p.m.
