THE SERIESÂ Â Â
• This is the first meeting between the two teams.

THE 'CATS
• The Wildcats enter the weekend 14-13 overall and 4-5 in the A-10. Davidson is coming off a 10-6 loss at Duke on Tuesday.
• Outfielder Lee Miller leads the squad with a .346 batting average with 16 runs, 37 hits and 25 RBI in 107 at bats. Second baseman Sam Foy follows with a .313 batting average with 12 runs and 35 hits.
• On the mound, RHP Clark Beeker leads the team with a 4.44 ERA, allowing 62 hits, 41 runs and has 49 strikeouts in 50.2 innings pitched. Beeker is set to start Friday.
• The Wildcats are currently on the longest road trip of the season as they have been away for five-straight contests and continue on the road until Tuesday.

• The Rams enter the weekend 10-19 overall and 2-4 in the A-10. Fordham is coming off a 10-4 loss to Rutgers Wednesday.   Â
• Infielder Matthew Kozuch leads the squad with a .373 batting average with 24 runs, 38 hits and 25 RBI in 102 at bats. Outfielder Ryan Mahoney is the other lone Ram with a .300 batting average.
• RHP Ben Greenberg leads the team on the mound with a 3.07 ERA, allowing 36 hits, 14 runs and has 18 strikeouts in 29.1 innings pitched.

LAST TIME OUT
• Despite three runs in the final at bat, the Wildcats fell to the Duke Blue Devils, 10-6, in mid-week action Tuesday night at Jack Coombs Field.
• The Blue Devils only out hit Davidson by one (12-11), while the Wildcats committed four errors to Duke's three. Second baseman Andy Perez led both teams with two runs, two hits and two RBI, while left fielder Lee Miller led the 'Cats with one run, three hits and a RBI.
• Following three Duke runs in the eighth, Davidson rallied to score three in their final at bat off three hits but it was not enough to overcome the deficit. Six Wildcats threw for Davidson, including RHP Nick Neitzel who recorded the loss.

• After the weekend road trip, the Wildcats will continue on the road Tuesday, April 14 when they travel to Wake Forest before returning home Wednesday to host the Demon Deacons at Wilson Field. Both start times are set for 6 p.m.
