BOONE, N.C.  —  The Davidson men's tennis team wrapped up their regular season with a 5-2 setback on the road Saturday afternoon at Appalachian State on the Mountaineer Tennis Courts.
 
The Wildcats close out the regular season with a 12-9 record and head to the Atlantic 10 Championships with a 4-1 league mark. ASU moved to 10-11 on the year.
 
The two team points came from David Hager and Jordan Hart at No. 4 and 6 singles, respectively. Hager took home his 11th win of the season with a 5-7, 6-3, 10-5 victory.
 
Hart ran his record to 9-7 on the season with a strong 6-4, 6-0 win.
 
The duo of Jack Riazzi and Evan Watkins claimed the lone doubles win for Davidson, scoring a 6-3 victory at No. 2. It was the pairs second win of the season.
 
Davidson takes some time off before heading to its first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship, April 23-26, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
