Palumbo Earns Win For Davidson in Loss at Sacred Heart

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Freshman Tony Palumbo earned Davidson's lone victory at 157 pounds as the Wildcats fell 44-3 loss at Sacred Heart Saturday.

Palubmo battled to a 12-6 decision over Matt Fisher at 157 pounds to put Davidson on the board. Palumbo improves to 4-6 in his rookie campaign.

Konner Pritchard kept things close at 184 pounds, but could not overcome Elliott Antler and dropped the bout by a score of 4-1.At heavyweights, Will Cooley put up a fight. The sophomore fell in double overtime to Ray Sherwood, 4-3 for the final margin.

The Wildcats return to action Dec. 21 with a trip to Washington D.C., to take on American and George Mason.
