Davidson Falls to American, George Mason

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Konner Pritchard registered two wins as Davidson fell to American and George Mason Monday. The Wildcats first dropped their dual to the Eagles 41-10, before falling to the Patriots, 31-12.
In the first dual, freshman Zamir Ode won by forfeit at 125 pounds. Sophomore Konner Pritchard registered a major decision over Joe Salvi at 184 pounds.
Against George Mason, the Wildcats recorded two wins. At 149 pounds, Aidan Conroy captured a hard-fought 6-4 decision over Konbeh Koroma.
After the Patriots forfeited at 174 pounds, Pritchard earned his second win of the day at 184 pounds. The sophomore took a 2-1 tie breaker over Luke Ludke.
Davidson returns to action Jan. 9 with a trip to Pittsburgh for the Pitt Duals. The Wildcats will face Franklin & Marshall, Hofstra and Pittsburgh.
