'Cats and 49ers Square Off in Cross-County Battle Sunday

DAVIDSON, N.C. — For the fourth straight year Davidson will face its cross-county rival Charlotte when the two teams square off Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in John M. Belk Arena for a non-conference women's basketball matchup.
The Wildcats wrap up their season-long five-game homestand Sunday and will have just one more non-conference opponent, James Madsion (Dec. 30), to face before the calendar year ends.
OPENING TIP: Quick Hits
•Davidson is in its 37th season and reached the 400-win mark last year at Gardner-Webb.
•The 'Cats are in their second year in the Atlantic 10 after a 21-year run in the SoCon.
