Davidson Heads to Saint Louis for Key A-10 Matchup

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Winners of two straight, Davidson will play three of its last four regular-season contests on the road beginning with a 7 p.m. (CT) kickoff at league-foe Saint Louis Saturday evening.
Coming off a 3-0 blanking of Saint Joseph's Wednesday evening, the Wildcats enter 5-6-3 overall and 2-3-0 in Atlantic 10 play.
Like Davidson, the Billikens have won two straight conference matches and come in 6-5-2 and 2-1-2 after consecutive shutouts against Fordham and VCU.
After each scored first-half goals in their last outing, Valeriy Sviderskiy and Alec Rotunda continue to lead the Wildcats in scoring with nine total points, while fellow forward Maxi Pragnell has a team-high five assists.
A year ago, Davidson and then-ranked No. 8 Saint Louis battled to a 0-0 draw in their first-ever meeting.
Vince Cicciarelli's 10 points lead the Billikens, while goalkeeper Sascha Otte has played every minute in goal and has 17 career shutouts and a 0.99 career goals against average.
