ST. LOUIS — The Davidson men's soccer team saw its season come to an end Wednesday night with a 1-0 loss to top-seeded Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals.
The fourth-seeded Wildcats closed the season 9-7-3, while the Billikens (10-2-6) advanced to host No. 3 Dayton in Sunday's final.
The night's lone goal came on a Billikens penalty kick in the 29th minute, following a foul in the box. Quinten Blair converted the PK for the Billikens.
Davidson finished with six shots, including Alonzo Clarke's shot-on-goal, which was saved in the 50th minute.
Pablo Linzoain and Brady McGlone had two shots apiece.
The match included seven cards, including four yellows and a red on the Wildcats.
