MOBILE, Ala. – Led by an even-par rounds of 72 from Ralph Blasey on Tuesday, Davidson carded a 54-hole total of 894 (299-297-298) to finish 12th at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate hosted by the University of South Alabama.
The two-day event was played on the Par 72, 7,212-yard Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove Golf Club layout.

Following a disappointing opening day, which included a 78 and 76, Blasey erased two early bogeys with three birdies on his back nine to climb the leaderboard and finish tied for 51st.
Despite a triple-bogey on the Par-4 fifth, Sam Echikson (222) posted three birdies and turned in a solid two-over 74 to finish tied for 34th.
Also competing for the Wildcats was Alex Nianouris (81-80-79), who placed tied for 70th, following a final round 79.
No. 27 Auburn, one of four nationally-ranked schools in the 15-team field, captured the team title with a two-day total of six-under 858 (290-282-286). The Tigers finished six strokes clear of No. 36 Kentucky and seven ahead of No. 41 Memphis.
Wake Forest's Clancy Waugh fired his second four-under 68 of the event to claim individual medalists by two swings over day-one leader Niclas Carlsson of Auburn.
The Wildcats will enjoy a two-week break before hosting the Davidson College Invitational at River Run Country Club, March 3-4.
