A Davidson win would . . .
• Snap a six-game overall losing streak
• Snap a nine-game road losing streak
• Snap a 12-game PFL losing streak
• Keep the 'Cats undefeated at Campbell
• Deal Campbell (3-0) its first PFL loss of the season.
The Series
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which began in 2008, 4-2, and is 3-0 all-time in Barker-Lane Stadium.
• The Wildcats opened up a 28-0 lead during their last visit to Buies Creek in 2012, and fended off a late Camel comeback attempt, 28-21.
• Last season, Campbell quarterback Brian Hudson threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Campbell past Davidson, 47-14, in the season finale for both teams.
• Campbell held the Wildcats to just 208 yards of offense.
Scouting Campbell
• The Camels lost all three of their non-conference games, playing a challenging slate that included Charlotte, Appalachian State and Charleston Southern.
• However, they have won their last three games over Valparaiso, Morehead State and Butler - all PFL opponents - for their best start ever in league play.
• In PFL games, Campbell is averaging 19 points allowed per game to rank third in the league.

• The 'Cats are averaging 155.3 yards per game rushing so far this season after averaging just 88.2 last season. The rate is sixth in the PFL.
• If Davidson were to maintain that average, it would be its highest since 1999 (188.6). In fact, the Wildcats have not averaged over 100 yards per game throughout an entire season since 2009.
• Davidson finished dead last in the PFL in scoring last season, only averaging 14.0 points per game, but the 'Cats are currently third in the league and 57th in the country averaging 28.3 points per game.
• In its first two PFL games, Davidson had opportunities to force overtime on its last regulation possession both times. It was unsuccessful against Morehead State, losing by eight, but went to quintuple overtime against Dayton before losing by six.
