DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson women's basketball team starts its second go-around in the Southern Conference Saturday at 12 p.m. when it welcomes Chattanooga to John M. Belk Arena in a battle of second and first place teams.
The Wildcats finished the first half of league play 7-2, good for second-best behind Chattanooga, which went 9-0. One of those defeats came to the Mocs, who the 'Cats are looking to defeat for the first since Jan. 23, 2012 when they captured a 56-52 home victory.
Also on the line Saturday is Davidson's seven-game SoCon home winning streak that dates back to the end of last season. The school record is 11, which was set from 2007-08 to 2008-09.

•Davidson (10-10, 7-2 SoCon) has won five of its last seven games and sits at 7-2 in league play, good for second.
