Swimming & Diving to Host CCSA Duals for Senior Day

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Six CCSA foes will travel to Cannon Pool as the Davidson swimming & diving teams close out the regular season by hosting the CCSA Duals. The event is slated for a 1 p.m. start time Saturday.
CCSA DUALS
The men's squad will face off against Howard as part of the meet. The women's team will welcome Radford, Howard, Liberty, Georgia Southern and North Carolina A &T to the pool for the afternoon.
SENIOR DAY
The Duals will mark the team's annual Senior Day festivities. Departing seniors Marcus Carson, Wills Cooper, Tim Keating, Drew Onken, Allison Cottle, Jean DeOrnellas, Kelsi Hobbs and Lillie Seifart will be honored for their achievements prior to the start of the meet.
LUDWICK CAPTURES CCSA HONORS
Dylan Ludwick earned the CCSA Men's Swimmer of the Week honor this past Thursday. Ludwick posted two individual wins, a relay win and a pool record in last weekend's loss to Gardner-Webb.
DEORNELLAS HONORED
Senior Jean DeOrnellas was honored at Thursday's men's basketball game as part of the Northwest Mutual Student-Athlete Spotlight for her accomplishments both in the pool and the classroom. DeOrnellas is a school record holder as a member of the 200, 400 and 800-yard freestyle relay teams, as well as a CCSA All-Academic team member who boasts a 3.959 GPA as a political science major.
