DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson women's indoor track and field team competed in its second indoor event of the season when they raced at the Kent Taylor Invitational held on the campus of North Carolina on Saturday.

Erin Osment paced the runners, finishing in fourth place in the 3000 meter dash with a time of 10:39.84. She was one of five 'Cats that ran in the event. Manya Swick was right behind Osment with a time of 10:44.09 for fifth place. Finishing 12th-14th was Lauren Carter (11:01.06), Megan Mavity (11:02.48) and Annamarie Armistead ((11:07.66).

Sarah Paddon ran to a seventh place finish in the 800 meter dash on a time of 2:23.26. She was not alone as Grace Watts closed in seven spots behind Paddon with a time of 2:25.89 and Brooke Senken crossed the finish line in a time of 2:29.10.

In the Mile run, Ali Cobb clocked in at a time of 5:31.11 for 17th place. She was followed by Maggie Rickard and Jane Gay, with times of 5:43.13 and 5:47.45, respectively.

Gracie Gordon earned a 13th place finish in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.29 meters. Brittany Elek competed in the Triple Jump, earning a jump of 9.18 meters that got her a 10th place finish.

Rounding out the Wildcats in the 400 meter dash was Ashley Paige with a time of 1:10.03.

Davidson heads up the road to Winston-Salem, N.C.,  to compete at the Fast Track College Invitational.
