DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Wildcats begin their final three-regular season games at John M. Belk Arena on Saturday when they host Georgia Southern in Southern Conference women's basketball action.
The Opening Tip
Davidson (11-15, 6-11 SoCon) seeks to snap a four-game skid and is looking for a split with GSU (11-15, 8-9 SoCon) when the Wildcats tip-off at 2 p.m. vs. the Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 19.
The All-Time Series/Last Meeting
The all-time series is knotted up at 19-apiece after the Eagles took the first game this season, 55-42. In that meeting, Georgia Southern hit 11 of its 20 field goals from three-land and Davidson shot just 27.7 percent in dropping the road game to the Eagles.
Sophia Aleksandravicius and Kristen Johnsen each hit for double figures in the first meeting, scoring 16 and 10 points, respectively.
Despite having lost the last two meetings, Davidson still has won 15 of the past 17 meetings overall.
Scouting the Wildcats
•Davidson fell for the fourth game in a row, all on the road, with a 58-47 defeat at Samford on Monday. The Wildcats have dropped five of their last six games overall.
•The 'Cats are shooting just 38 percent during the skid, and have hit just 8-of-63 three-point attempts. They also are getting outscored 67-55.

•The forward ranks second in the league in rebounds at a career-best 8.7 per game.
•Aleksandravicius is just two blocks away (132 on year) from setting the Wildcat all-time record. She already has set the single-game (7) and single-season records (83 and counting).
•The sophomore is also closing in on a few other single-season records: points (446- 488 record), field goals made, (170- 175) free throws made (102-111) and rebounds (225- 288).

•The Eagles were paced by Samantha Williams and Jamie Navarro's 12 points apiece.
•Navarro, who had 11 points in the first meeting vs. Davidson this year, is one of three players averaging in double figures at 11.6. Meredyth Frye (11.4) and MiMi DuBose (10.6) are the other two Eagles in double digits.
