Davidson Announces Wildcats Tailgate Fan Zone

DAVIDSON - Davidson College introduces the new Wildcats Tailgate Fan Zone prior to its football game against Georgetown at Richardson Stadium Saturday, Sept. 4.
Set just steps from the stadium on Faculty Drive, the Wildcats Tailgate Fan Zone will feature live music, inflatable games, face painting and other fun activities prior to every home football game. It opens three hours prior to kickoff and admission is free.
This Saturday, the Wildcats Tailgate Fan Zone will open at 3 p.m., three hours before the 6 p.m. kickoff, and feature the music of The Substitutes, a cover band from Indian Trail, N.C., which plays a variety of Dance, R&B, Motown and classic rock. The first 200 fans to stop by the promotions table at the tailgate will receive a free Davidson t-shirt, so make sure to come out and enjoy free entertainment for adults and kids alike before watching Davidson open its season against Georgetown.
Fans are invited to park on Faculty Drive until the spots fill up. Afterwards, they will be directed to the Baker Parking lot, where they will be able to bring items up to the Wildcats Tailgate Fan Zone to tailgate.
