2010 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming Championship Information
DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Becoming the first Davidson swimmer in the program history to do so, junior Lindsey Martin has been selected to the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., at Boilermaker Aquatic Center, March 18-20.
Martin was invited for the Wildcats based on her time in the 50 free, after qualifying with a winning, school and league-record time of 22.57 at the CCSA Championships last month. She will also compete in the 100 freestyles and 200 freestyles, after swimming NCAA B-cut times in both events.
Martin earned Swimmer of the Meet honors for a second straight year after sweeping the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles at the league championships and anchoring the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays, helping Davidson to a runner-up finish. She is the Davidson record holder in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles and as a member of the 200 and 400 medley and 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
