DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson junior Vitaly Radsky was named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week after going undefeated with three pins in four bouts during competition Feb. 10-16. He will return to action Thursday as a host of exciting promotions are in store for Davidson students when the Wildcats host Duquesne in the regular season finale at 7 p.m.

The 'Cats will also honor their four seniors prior to the match.

Fans unable to attend in person can follow the action at home on live video and, new this season, live stats.

Radsky was 4-0 last week, picking up three pins and a major decision for the Wildcats. He earned pins against Anderson, Belmont Abbey and North Carolina State as a well as a 13-3 major decision against Campbell that propelled Davidson to a 23-21 victory.

Hailing from Worthington, Ohio, Radsky has now won eight straight and 13 of his past 15 bouts.

Students who attend Thursday night's match will have a chance to win two tickets to see Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors take on the Charlotte Bobcats or a Wildcat Pride backpack. They can also earn double pride points during the first 30 minutes, get free Fuel Pizza and a free Wildcats t-shirt.

Scouting the Wildcats: Davidson (5-15) is looking to end the 2009-10 regular season on a winning note. They have won three of their last four matches as Alex (133 pounds) and Vitaly Radsky (141) have put together impressive winning streaks individually. Alex has won his last seven straight bouts and 12 of his last 13, while Vitaly has won his last eight straight bouts and 13 of his last 15. Vitaly leads the team with a 19-6 record (13-2 in duals) and five pins.

All three of the 'Cats' most recent wins were decided at heavyweight as Charlie Wolff came through with an overtime win over Anderson and a major decision against Belmont Abbey. Campbell then forfeited at 285 pounds.

Senior Carl Sandercock (149) has won his last three bouts by falls after starting the season 0-10. He will be honored along with Ben Altman (125), Ben Thompson (141) and Mark Jeevratnam approximately 10 minutes before the start of the match. Altman leads the group presently with an 84-56 record.

Hailing from Wilmington, Del., Altman was named the SoCon Freshman of the Year after going 26-14 on the year and finishing third in the SoCon Championships at 125 pounds. He then improved to second in the conference during his sophomore season, going 24-11 on the year. Last season, he led the team in wins. Altman has also stood out academically, receiving the SoCon Student Athlete of the Week award three times in his career.

After missing his freshman season due to injury, Sandercock returned to wrestle at three different weight classes during his sophomore season, earning eight wins with two pins. Last season he placed fourth in the conference championships at 157 pounds.

Primarily competing at 141 and 149 pounds, Thompson has provided valuable depth to the 'Cats lineup. Jeevratman joined the team during his junior year and has started at 197 pounds this season.

Scouting the Dukes: Duquesne has totaled a 3-5 record so far this season. Millersville is the only common opponent the teams share, which Duquesne defeated 25-9, and Davidson split a pair of matches with (17-25, 27-23).
