CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Wildcat women's track and field team returned to action, competing in the Dick Taylor Carolina Invitational Friday night at the Eddie Smith Field House on the campus of the University of North Carolina.

The Wildcats were led by Caroline Sanker who finished sixth in the mile with a time of 5:13.63. Sarah Cline placed 29th in the event with a time of 5:29.05. Heather Conarroe finished 17th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:45.92.

In the sprints, Kim Colley continued to lead the Wildcats, finishing 23rd (8.11) in the 60 meters and 27th (26.68) in the 200 meters. Danielle Wright was 30th in the 60 meters (8.28) and 31st (26.97) in the 200 meters, and also competed in the 400 meters, finishing 25th with a time of 1:01.23.

The Wildcats will conclude the regular indoor season, traveling to Clemson for a meet on Feb. 21, before returning for the Southern Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 28-March 1.
