DAVIDSON, N.C. - Through the National Wrestling Coaches Association's Scorebook, Davidson wrestling fans can view live statistics during Wednesday night's match at Duke. The match is set to start at 6:30 p.m.
DavidsonWildcats.com will offer live stats coverage at dual matches throughout the season.
Duke has taken the last two matches against the Wildcats, including a 25-13 victory last season. However, the 'Cats won the last meeting in Durham, 18-17 on Jan. 6, 2007.
Senior Ben Altman (125 pounds) and sophomore David DeCamp (149), a Preseason All-Southern Conference selection have led that 'Cats so far this season. Altman earned a decision against Binghamton at the Sprawl & Brawl, while DeCamp performed well against nationally-ranked competition.
Duke will provide a strong challenge for the 'Cats, as they boast top heavyweight in the country. Konrad Dudziak has been ranked No. 1 in the weekly InterMat rankings since Nov. 17. At 184, John Barone is ranked No. 15.
The 'Cats will return home to host the Davidson Open on Saturday.
