
The Bob McKillop Show to Start This Weekend

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Bob McKillop Show, featuring the 20-year veteran bench boss of the Davidson basketball team, will begin this weekend and air weekly on four stations covering the Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro areas.
The 30-minute show, produced by the Urban Sports & Entertainment Group, will air Sundays at 10 a.m. on WJZY in Charlotte. It will air Fridays at 4 p.m. on Comcast Sports Southeast (check local listings) and at days and times to be determined on WRAL in Raleigh and WGSR in Greensboro.
Host Stan Lewter will talk Davidson basketball with McKillop, and the show will contain game highlights and feature stories on Wildcat players.
McKillop was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Coach of the Year in 2008 after leading the Wildcats to the Midwest Regional final of the NCAA Tournament. The 2008 Coach Clair Bee Award winner owns a career record of 350-227, including 194 Southern Conference victories. He has led the Wildcats to eight postseason appearances, including the last three NCAA Tournaments.
McKillop and the Wildcats are back in action Wednesday night as they take on No. 2 Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game tips off at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
