Dove did it again in the third, leading off with a walk and stealing second and third. After Donny Jobe walked and stole second, Harrilchak helped his cause with a two-run single.
Mike Lobacz plated two more with a double, giving Elon a 6-0 advantage, and Tarleton singled with the bases loaded in the fourth to give the Phoenix a comfortable 8-0 advantage.
The 'Cats got things going in the fourth as Shore and Kayne led off with consecutive singles, and Weiss reached on an infield single with one out to load the bases. Chase FitzPatrick plated two with a single, and Weiss scored on a throwing error off a Jay Honeycutt grounder to trim the margin to 8-3.
After the Phoenix extended the lead to 10-3 in the top of the seventh, the 'Cats came back with a run in the home half of the inning. Chris FitzPatrick got a bunt single and moved to second after Eden was hit by a pitch. Shore drove in FitzPatrick to make the cushion 10-4.
Davidson capped the scoring in the ninth, when Payne led off with a double, went to third on a Chris FitzPatrick groundout and scored on an Eden groundout.
