CBS Early Show to Broadcast Live from Alvarez Union Thursday

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The CBS Early Show will broadcast its national weather segments live from the campus of Davidson College at the Alvarez College Union from 7 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. on Thurs., March 27.
The event is open to the public, who are encouraged to wear red and black to show their support for the "Sweet 16" bound Davidson Wildcat men's basketball team.
Free coffee and donuts will be served in the 900 Room at the Union beginning at 6:30 a.m., and the Union Café will feature a Breakfast Special. Mr. Cat, the Davidson Cheerleaders, and the Davidson Pep Band will attend.
Davidson (28-6) knocked off seventh-seeded Gonzaga and second-seeded Georgetown to earn a spot in this weekend's Midwest Regional in Detroit, where they will face No. 3 seeded Wisconsin.
