CHARLESTON, S.C. - Senior Trebor Clavette and freshman Vitaly Radsky posted victories at their respective weight classes, but The Citadel scored a 31-6 SoCon wrestling victory over Davidson Tuesday night.
With the Wildcats trailing 7-0, Radsky earned a 6-2 decision over Mike Fenton at 141 pounds. The Bulldogs won the next three matches to open an 18-3 advantage in the team score.
Clavette tallied a 9-8 decision over Derek Sickel at 174 pounds to make the margin 18-6, but that was all the scoring Davidson could muster.
The Wildcats fall to 1-11 overall and finish the conference slate with an 0-5 mark. Davidson returns to action to host Campbell and Anderson in a tri-meet Saturday Feb. 16, at Belk Arena. The meet begins at 7 p.m.
