2007-08: Went 3-1 at the SoCon Championships to take third place at 184 for the second consecutive season… competed in a team-high 38 matches… wrestled at 197 in three matches, all victories… posted a 9-5 record in dual meets and scored 38 points, the third most on the team… placed second at the Davidson Open after winning 3-of-4 matches… went 5-2 to finish fourth at the Pembroke Open… was 4-2 and finished fifth at the Navy Classic… went 1-2 at the Southern Scuffle.
2006-07: Placed third in 184 at the SoCon Championships after winning 2-of-3 decisions… posted a 16-14 record at 184 and went 1-1 at 197… At 184, registered three pins and went 7-5 in dual matches, including 3-2 in league bouts… went 3-3 to finish sixth at the Navy Classic… won 2-of-3 matches to place second at the Davidson Open… picked up a victory in the Southern Scuffle.
2005-06: Bulked up to fill a need at 184 after starting the season at 165 ... picked up first collegiate victory with a clutch 3-2 decision at 184 against VMI, helping the Wildcats earn a tie in the dual ... followed with a major decision win against Anderson ... came back with a 4-2 victory against Appalachian State to help Davidson to its first SoCon triumph in 21 years ... nine of last 10 bouts were by decision, including a victory over Drexel and an overtime win against James Madison.
Prep Years: A four-year letterwinner for Coach Pete Smith at T.C. Williams High ... completed his senior season unbeaten with a mark of 51-0, winning the district, regional and state titles ... also won the district crown as a sophomore and junior for the Titans... finished his prep career with the most wins in school history with 152 ... selected as the school's Most Valuable Athlete following his senior year ... also lettered in baseball.
