Located in Baker Sports complex, the Knobloch Indoor Tennis Center is home to the men and women's tennis programs.
The facility features a durable acrylic-based hard-court surface covering four courts. The courts are lit with indirect lighting and have movable screens between them. The center also has team locker rooms, offices, and a conference room.
The courts and lighting were updated in 2012, with a new surface and cost-efficient lighting.
Built in 1985, the tennis facility was the first portion of the Baker Sports Complex to be completed. It is named in honor of Carl and Emily Knobloch and their family. Two of the Knobloch’s daughters were members of the tennis team at Davidson, Eleanor, Class of 1984 and Emily, Class of 1982.
