2022-23 (Junior):
Outdoor
Atlantic 10 All-Academic... Second Team All-Conference... A-10 Co-Field Performer of the Week (4/12)... Set five top-ten marks this outdoor season... Broke the outdoor pole vault record three times... Won silver in the pole vault at the A-10 Championships with a program record run of 3.88 meters... Snapped her previous program record at the VertKlasse Meeting when she cleared the bar at 3.77 meters... Followed that up with another record-breaking performance at the Duke Invitational (4/8) where she made a successful run at 3.80 meters to take third... Currently holds all ten top-ten marks in Davidson history.
Indoor
Won the pole vault at VMI's Winter Relays (2/3) with a mark of 3.70m... Finished third at the A-10 Indoor Championships (2/25) after posting a successful run at 3.67m... Finished the indoor season with four top-five finishes.
2021-22 (Sophomore):
Outdoor
Took home a first place finish in the pole vault at South Carolina's Weems Baskin Relays (3/25) by clearing 3.73m... Set a new outdoor record at the University of South Carolina Open (4/23) after a successful run at 3.75m, good for fourth place... Finished third at the A-10 Outdoor Championships (5/7) by clearing the bar at 3.57m.
Indoor
First team All-Conference in the pole vault... Won gold at the A-10 Indoor Championships (2/26) with a school record and personal-best clearance of 3.80 meters... Finished inside the top-10 in all six meets she competed at... Took first place in the pole vault at the JDL Flat is Fast Invitational (1/23) after clearing 3.60m.
2020-21 (Freshman):
Outdoor
Earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team … Placed third and set a then school outdoor record in the pole vault at the Atlantic 10 Championship, clearing 3.71m (5/2) … Won the vault at the Vertklasse Meeting (4/2) … Cleared 3.60m for sixth at the USC Open (4/17) … Placed fourth with a 3.55m clearance at the 49er Classic (3/20) … Took seventh at the Mason Spring Invitational (4/11) … Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Prep Years: A 2020 graduate of Cozad High School … Was twice the Nebraska State pole vaulting champion (2018-19) … Holds her school’s vault record … Was also a member of the volleyball and basketball teams, while also running cross country.
Personal: Born Mar. 29, 2002 … Daughter of Anne and Matt Burkholder … Has two siblings, Ashley and Karyn … Her aunt, Lara, was a member of the Davidson Track & Field team.
