2017 Outdoor (Freshman):
Helped the 4x400m relay team set a new school record, stopping the clock in 3:51.01, good for sixth at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship (5/7) … Posted a time of 1:00.58 at the Mason Spring Invitational (4/8) … Helped the 4x400m relay team place sixth at the Duke Invitational (4/22) with a time of 3:52.92.
2016-17 Indoor (Freshman):
Ran a season-best 1:02.31 in the 400m at the UNCG Dual Meet Madness (1/29) and competed on the 4x400m relay team that placed fourth overall with a time of 4:10.95 … Posted a 1:05.17 400m performance at the Wake Forest Invitational (1/21) and helped the 4x400m relay team stop the clock in 4:01.78 … Opened the season with a 1:05.17 result in the 400m at the JDL College Kick-off Classic (12/3).
Before Davidson: Named her team's Most Valuable Sprinter (2016) ... Was a State qualifier in the 400m (2012) ... Tabbed her team's Most Improved Sprinter (2013) ... Also a member of the volleyball team.
Personal: Born April 24, 1998 ... Daughter of Renee Thompson-Franklin and Phillip Franklin ... Has three siblings; Kierstan, Lyndsey and Ryan ... father Ian and Uncle Iram were both professional athletes Olympic qualifiers for the Bahamas.
