Ty Eustice
Ty Eustice joined the Wildcats as head assistant coach of the Davidson Wrestling program in October 2021. 

In just his first season, Eustice helped lead Davidson to its most successful season since 2005, notching five dual wins. Additionally, three 'Cats were named to the RPI for the first time in program history. An additional three were named to the NWCA All-Academic Team as well. 

Going into his second season, Eustice helped bring in a strong class of seven incoming freshman to the program, including Davidson's first homegrown wrestler from North Carolina. 
 
Eustice has made the move to North Carolina from Minnesota State University, Mankato, a program he had coached through the 2007-08 year. During that time, he coahed two individual national champions and 12 individual All-Americans, as well as earning the 2008 NWCA National Duals Championship. In his second stint at MSU Mankato, Eustice coached seven All-Americans and 15 National Qualifiers, including two National Finalists. As a coach there since 2018, the team posted a 24-6 record. 

Before returning to Minnesota, Eustice spent the 2010-2011 year at Iowa Lakes Community College where he coached a two-time National Champion, Victor DeJesus, and six NCJAA All-Americans. He coached three DIII All-Americans at Cornell College in 2009. 

The Blue Earth, Minn. native wrestled collegiately at the University of Iowa where he was a two-time All American and a four-time NCAA Qualifier. In 2006, the two-time team captain was a NCAA Finalist. He was also a member of the Big Ten Championship team in 2004. Eustice also earned the distinction of Cadet, Junior and FILA Junior National Freestyle All-American. Before wrestling collegiately, Eustice was also a four-time High School State Champion in Minnesota.
 
Eustice earned his BA from the University of Iowa in 2006 and his MA from MSU Mankato in 2008. He currently resides in Davidson with his wife and two children.
