Caitlin Genovy joined the Davidson volleyball program in February 2023 after two seasons with the Houston volleyball program as a volunteer assistant coach, primarily responsible for travel coordination, scouting, analysis and day-to-day program operations.

From Stoney Creek, Ontario, Genovy competed collegiately at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and spent a year playing professional volleyball for Volley-Ball La Rochette in France as a setter after graduation.

After her playing career, Genovy got her start in college coaching as a graduate assistant for Indiana State during the 2019 and 2020 seasons, where she helped coach the Sycamores back to a Missouri Valley Conference Tournament appearance in the 2021 spring season after a two-year hiatus.

During her time with Houston, the Cougars finished the 2021 season with their most wins in a single season (25) since 1996 and ended the 2022 campaign with multiple top-25 rankings, the program's longest win streak (20 games), an AAC Co-Championship and an NCAA Regional Semifinal appearance.

Genovy graduated from McMaster University in 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology.
