Aubrey Marsellis joined the Davidson staff as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator in February, 2019.

Marsellis spent the previous season as an assistant coach at Brown University.

"I am honored to join the Davidson community,” said Marsellis. “Davidson is an exceptional institution, and it's very clear how committed the college is to the volleyball program. I am humbled by the opportunity Chris has given me and look forward to working with our amazing student-athletes."

At Brown, Marsellis helped the Bears to their best season since 2014. She worked primarily with pin hitters and primary passers and helped Eliza Grover and Sabrina Stillwell earn All-Ivy League honors.

Marsellis spent 2016 and 2017 as Florida State’s director of operations as the Seminoles made two NCAA Tournament appearances and reached the 2016 Sweet Sixteen.

“I’m thrilled that Aubrey is joining our family,” said head coach Chris Willis. “Her skill set, personality, and character will enhance the vision of our program. I look forward to seeing her attract and develop the future leaders of Davidson Volleyball.”

A native of Tulsa, Okla., Marsellis was a three-year starter at Austin Peay State University, where she played setter and opposite. She was a two-time all-tournament selection and 2015 team MVP. She ranks among the program’s career leaders in assists (7th) and total blocks (16th). She earned her degree in communications and public relations and graduated magna cum laude in 2016.

Marsellis earned her masters in coaching and athletic administration, and graduated summa cum laude, from Concordia University Irvine in 2017.
