Marked her furthest javelin throw of the season, 44.33m (145’5) and took first at the Gamecock Invitational (4/7) … Won the javelin throw at the Wake Forest Outdoor Opener (3/24) with a mark of 43.59m (143’0) … Placed second in the javelin at the Coastal Carolina Invitational (3/9), the Charlotte Invitational (4/13), the Duke Invitational (4/21) and the Atlantic 10 Championship (5/6) … Stretched the tape 44.08m (144’7), good for third, at the 49er Classic (3/17).
2017 Outdoor (Freshman):
Snapped the school record in the javelin at the Charlotte 49er Classic (3/17) with a javelin toss of 45.91m (150’7) to claim first overall and qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Round … Placed third in the javelin at Winthrop Invitational (3/25) with a mark of 43.33m (142’2) … Notched a third place finish in the jav with a mark of 42.65m (139’11) at the VertKlasse Meeting (4/1) … Named the Atlantic 10 Women’s Rookie of the Week (4/4) … Took second in the javelin with a mark of 43.39m (142’4) at the Mason Spring Invitational (4/8) … Was third in the jav at the Duke Invitational (4/22), stretching the tape 42.63m (139’10) … Landed on the podium at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship (5/6) with a toss of 42.58m (139’8) … Marked a throw of 43.06m (141’3) at the NCAA East Region Preliminary Round at the University of Kentucky (5/26).
