Track & Field: School record-holder in the indoor 3000-meters (9:53.37/2007), indoor 5,000-meters (17:08.63/2007 SoCons), outdoor 5,000-meters (16:51.35/2007) and 10,000-meters (35:48.41/2007 SoCons) ... named Most Outstanding Track Performer at 2007 Indoor SoCon Championships, after winning 3,000-meters (9:53.83) and finishing second in 5,000 meters ... All SoCon performer in indoor and outdoor 3,000 meters, indoor 5,000 meters and outdoor 10,000 meters ... two-time SoCon Track Athlete of the Week and TIAA-CREF SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week ... qualified for the NCAA regionals and set new school record in the 5,000 meters (16:51.35) at Duke Invitational ... finished third in the 3,000-meters (17:43.03) at the 2007 Outdoor SoCon Championships ... named Academic All-American by ESPN/CoSida ... won the 3,000-meters (9:53.37) at the UNC Opener and at the Winthrop Invitational (10:09.42).
