Ran a season-best 5k time of 19:42 at the Royals XC Challenge (Oct. 12) … Competed at the season-opening Charlotte Preview (Aug. 31).
2017 (Freshman):
Stopped the clock in 21:31.1 over the 5k course at the Charlotte Preview Meet (Sept. 1) … Covered the Queen City Invite 5k course in 21:34 (Oct. 13).
Prep Years: Eight-year letterwinner for coach Timothy J. Hamling at Woodward Academy … Was a three-time MVP distance runner for track and field (2015-17) … Helped lead her squad to three consecutive Regional Championships and back-to-back track and field titles (2016-17) … Was a member of the Track and Field 3A State Championship team (2014) and 4A State Runner-up (2017) … A member of three school relay records in the 4x800m, spring medley and distance medley relays … Was also a member of the softball team.
