A knee injury cut short Kelly's career, but she is still very much apart of the team. She is an impact team player, who is a chosen team leader and is respected and valued.
2007-08 Highlights:
•Forced to miss final 21 regular season games due to a season-ending injury.
•Saw her first action of her collegiate career in the Wildcats' cross-county rivalry game at Charlotte on Nov. 24.
•Netted first career points on mid-range jumper and added two free throws for season-high four points in 18 minutes of action of Davidson's SoCon win over Georgia Southern on Nov. 29.
High School Notes:
•Paced team in scoring both sophomore and junior years, while leading the team in rebounding freshman and junior seasons.
•Three-time Most Inspirational Player.
•Awarded Bishop Chatard Central Higgins award for top female athlete.
•An honorable mention Street & Smith All-American and earned all-state honors junior year.
•Three-time Marion County Coaches Association All-City team honoree.
•State qualifier in both shot put and discus
•A member of the National Honor Society and an active member in the Student Leadership Program.
