Coaches' Comments: "Dini is a hungry defender who sets the tone as #1 in training intensity. He is always seeking to win the ball and fire back with chances into the attack as well. Excellent in the air and fearless in the tackle, he sets our defensive tone."
2013: Played 18 of the 19 contests, including five starts… His lone goal of the season came as the equalizer in Davidson’s 2-1 win at Harvard (9/8)… Also assisted Valeriy Sviderskiy’s game-winner against Campbell (9/11) the very next match… Helped lead a Davidson defense to three shutouts.
2012: Appeared in all 18 contests, including a career-high 12 starts… netted his first career goal in Davidson’s thrilling 2-1 win over Georgia Southern… also found the back of the net with an 89th minute strike at Furman… helped Davidson to a pair of shutout wins, including a 0-0 draw against Clemson to open the season.
2011: Played in seven games, including four shutouts, on defense.
2010: Played in 13 matches, starting five… played all 90 minutes in his first-career start, a 1-0 shutout win over Campbell in which the ‘Cats defense allowed just seven shots… took three shots in 97 minutes of action against Georgia Southern… also drew starts against Wake Forest and in Davidson’s SoCon tournament first-round upset of College of Charleston.
Before Davidson: Completed an Internship in Las Vegas last summer with a focus on the hotel and hospitality industry… Finished his Davidson course work a semester early… Played soccer for two years at Loyola H.S.… named freshmen soccer MVP… varsity soccer “Rookie of the Year”… five-year member of Real SoCal Academy… team took first in the Western Conference during the 2010 US Soccer Academy season... back-to-back state of California Premier League Champions U17/U19… back-to-Back CSL Premier League Champions U17/U19… Real So Cal Development Academy team captain 2009-2010 season… selected for the only US soccer team to play in Northern Ireland’s Milk Cup in 2009, advancing to the semi-finals… club teammate of Davidson classmate Ben Gold… also played on Loyola football team as a kicker and wide receiver … named outstanding sophomore and junior student… won Swarthmore Book Award… member of Cum Laude Society.
