2013: Named to the SoCon All-Academic team… Appeared in all 19 contests, including a career-high 15 starts… Helped lead a Davidson defense to three shutouts… His lone assist came on Valeriy Sviderskiy’s game-tying goal at Jacksonville (10/5).
2012: Started six contests, while appearing in 16 of the 18 games… finished second on the team with two assists… recorded an assist in wins over USC Upstate and Wofford.
2011: Played in 10 games in a defensive role.
Prior to Davidson: Two-time all-conference and all-region player and four-year starter at South Mecklenburg H.S. … team captain and named offensive MVP senior year … member of North Carolina ODP team from 2006-2009 … team finished as Region III finalists in 2009 … played for Charlotte Soccer Academy in 2010 after previously playing for Charlotte United Futbol Club … team was a state finalist in 2009 … honor roll student … member of National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and Beta Club.
Personal: Son of Mike and Kathryn Brown … has two brothers, Matt and Chris … twin brother, Matt, plays soccer at the University of Virginia … majoring in economics... Worked for Jefferies LLC (investment banking) in Charlotte in summer of 2014... Offered and accepted employment offer as a consumer and retail investment banking analyst at Jefferies upon graduation.
