Phil Kroft is in his third season as a member of the Davidson men's soccer staff.

During his first two seasons (2018, 2019), he helped the team reach the A-10 Tournament for the first time since 2014, and in back-to-back seasons.

In his first year, the Wildcats finished runner-up in the Atlantic 10 regular season, their highest finish since moving from the Southern Conference.

Kroft joined the Wildcat program after serving as an assistant coach at Catholic University in Washington D.C., where he also served as the Director of Scouting for the D.C. United U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA).

"I'm extremely excited to join the Davidson men's soccer coaching staff," commented Kroft. "The Davidson culture is a great fit for my philosophies, and the school has a history of excellence. I look forward to learning from such a knowledgeable coaching staff, and contributing to the success of the program and athletic department."

Kroft, who played collegiately at Mount St. Mary's, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a concentration in secondary education from George Mason University in 2012.

He holds his U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) National A-Senior coaching license.
