Jon Mackey begins his fourth season as a vital member of the Davidson men’s soccer staff.
"Jon's role to train, motivate and bring out the very best in our goalkeepers is critical to our team's goals," said Head Coach Matt Spear. "He pushes them on a daily basis to improve. Mackey returned to his alma mater following graduation to begin his coaching career as the Golden Eagles goalkeeper’s coach. He also led the club’s offseason training programs for each keeper, which included nutritional routines.
