Becky Van Zee begins her second season as assistant field hockey coach with the Davidson Wildcats.
Van Zee spent the 2007 season at the Royal Hospital School, a boarding school in Suffolk, England, teaching and coaching multiple sports.
Her coaching experience also includes working with USFHA Futures Olympic Development Program, at the Williamsburg site in 2007.
Van Zee has coached with the Colonial Field Hockey Club Clinics in Williamsburg in 2006, as well as various summer camps at William & Mary, Elizabethtown College and Davidson.
A native of Lehighton, Pa., Van Zee was a four-year letterwinner at William & Mary, where she earned her B.A. in studio art in 2007.
A center midfielder, she served as her team’s co-captain durin gher senior season, and was a CAA Commissioner’s Award recipient in 2005.
