Bio
After completing a four-year career with the Wildcats volleyball team, Neale joins the women's track and field team for the 2009 season.
2007: Selected as a team captain for the 2008 season … started 30 matches for the Wildcats last season, turning in another balanced effort … posted 16 double-digit kill matches, including a stretch of six straight between Oct. 11-27 as the ‘Cats went 4-2 … tallied a season-high 19 kills at Wofford on Oct. 16 and recorded 18 on two occassions (against Furman on Oct. 2 and against Appalachian on Oct. 11) … posted 11 blocks and 15 kills in team’s 3-1 win against Chattanooga on Oct. 21 … finished the season with a career-high 91 digs, including a season-best seven against The Citadel on Sept. 29.
2006: Appeared in all 34 matches, making 33 starts … career highs in kills (383, 3rd on the team), service aces (16) and digs (82) … led the team in blocks for second straight year, with 103 total blocks … hit a career-high .287 (383-136-860), eighth-best single-season performance … hit a season-high 22 kills at Wake Forest on Sept. 16 in a career-high 45 attempts.
2005: Appeared in all 33 matches … led team with 123 blocks … had nine matches with five or more blocks, including a season-high nine against Furman on Oct. 16 … hit a season-best .714 (10-0-14) in the match … in final match, registered season-highs in kills (24), attempts (45) and digs (3) versus Chattanooga at the Southern Conference Championships … eight times hit better than .300 when attempting 10 or more attacks on offense.
