The Book on Hemerka:
Hemerka has been a fixture in the starting lineup since the start of her sophomore year and has been very effective down low or outside. Hemerka is a gritty, hard-working player that does whatever is asked of her. She can be effective in the post or can step out and drain a three-pointer.

2006-07 Highlights:
•Ranks 7th all-time at Davidson in total rebounds (530) and 10th in rebounds per game at 6.0.
•Second on team with a 5.6 rebounding average (10th in SoCon) and a 9.8 points per game average.
•15 different times finished a game with six or more rebounds.
•Reached double figures in points 16 times.
•Registered second career 20-point game in leading Davidson to 67-55 season-opening home win. Went on to open season scoring in double figures five of the first seven games.
•Finished fourth in league in field goal percentage at 48.7 percent.
•Recorded third career double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds in guiding the Wildcats to a 75-55 win over Furman on Dec. 15.
•Picked up second double-double (17 points/14 rebounds) of the season and fourth of her career in leading the Wildcats to a 58-48 New Year’s Day win at College of Charleston. The 14 rebounds set a new career-high and also set a new career-best in blocks with three.
•Finished with eight points, three rebounds and four assists in Davidson's first postseason game vs. UAB in the Women’s NIT.
 
2005-06 Highlights:
•Finished third on team with 10.2 ppg and
second with 6.3 rpg.
•The sophomore led the team 11 times during the year in rebounding, including six straight contests.
•Registered at least six or more rebounds 20 times, including 11 in back-to-back games at home against Georgia Southern and Elon on Jan. 14 and 17.
•Scored 12 of her 16 points in the first half and pocketed a season-high four steals in helping the Wildcats to a 71-67 win at College of Charleston on Jan. 30.
•Recorded second double-double of her career (17 point, 11 rebounds) in a victory against Georgia Southern on Jan. 14.  
•Matched her season-high for points with 18 and also nailed a personal-best four three-pointers against Furman on Dec. 17.

2004-05 Highlights:
•Named to All-SoCon Freshman Team.
•Posted back-to-back 20-point performances late in the season against UNC Greensboro and Wofford.
•Hauled in double-figure rebounds four times in her freshman campaign, including a personal-best 13 boards versus Georgia Southern on
Jan. 29.
•Led the team in rebounding and was 10th in the SoCon with a 6.0 rpg average.
•Notched first career double-double at East Tennessee State on Jan. 8 — 13 points and 12 rebounds.
•Had a career night at UNCG on Feb. 15 with personal bests in points (22), field goals made (nine), three-pointers made (three) and steals (five). Also had a season-high four assists.

High School Notes:
•Recorded over 1,000 points and rebounds while a member of the Highland Regional high school squad.
•The native of Blackwood, N.J., also earned second team All-South Jersey honors as a Tartan.
•Most memorable basketball moment was winning the AAU national championship with the Philadelphia Belles.
•In the classroom, Hemerka was salutatorian of her high school class and also served as class president.
