School record-holder in both the indoor and outdoor shot put with marks of 15.31m (2008) and 15.80m (2007), respectively.
2008: Earned All-SoCon honors for finishing second in the discus at the Outdoor SoCon championships with a season-best mark of 46.09 meters (151-02) ... set a new school record in the indoor shot put with his throw of 15.31 meters at the Patriot Games ... also had season-bests of 13.87m in the indoor weight throw at the Tiger Invitational and 40.60m in the indoor hammer at the Charlotte 49er Classic ... in the outdoor season, had bests of 15.67m in the shot put at the Winthrop Invitational and 42.22m at the Irwin Belk Invitational.
2007: Set a new school mark for the indoor shot put when he picked up a throw of 47’ 4-1/2” at the Carolina Invitational … garnered all-league honors with a second place finish in the shot put at the SoCon Indoor Championships … tabbed SoCon Track & Field Athlete of the Week on Mar. 21 after coming within 1-3/4’ of breaking the school record in the shot put at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a throw of 50 1-1/4 … registered two first-place showings in the discus and shot put at the Emory Invitational … set the outdoor shot put school record with a throw of 51’ 10” at the outdoor SoCons to earn a second place finish and all-conference honors … earned fourth and sixth place finishes in the discus and shot put at the Duke Twilight, scoring a place on both the Davidson Top Ten Performance and Performer lists … recorded a Davidson Top Ten Performance throw in the shot put with a throw of 49’ 6 1/2” at the Georgia Tech Invite for a 10th place showing.
