The Ruggieri File: Spent the fall season competing for the Davidson Cross-Country team. The fastest long distance runner on the team, Danielle’s quick feet and deceptive cuts make her almost impossible to guard.
2008: freshman campaign saw the midfielder play in 11 games, including earning first career start on Feb. 13 at Limestone, a 16-11 win ... found the back of the net for first collegiate goal in 17-3 win over Pfeiffer, Apr. 2 ... added second career goal to close out the season in a win over Howard ... earned seven draw controls, while eight of 12 shots were placed on net.
