Young on Topaz: “Adam is a gifted athlete whose versatility benefits our team. I’m looking for him to build on the best times that he swam last season, challenging college records in the butterfly and indivdiaul medley events.”
Wildcat Career: Wildcat Top-10 performer in 200 fly (1:54.42/4th), 200 IM (1:55.92/10th) and 400 IM (4:07.70/3rd) … 2007 CAA championship finalist (200 fly/7th) and consolation finalist (200 IM/14th, 400 IM/11th) … CAA consolation finalist in 2006 (200 IM/15th, 400 IM/15th) and 2005 (500 free/16th, 400 IM/15th) … 2006 SoCon Commissioner’s Medal … SoCon academic honor roll (2005, 2006, 2007) … individual event winner at Davidson Invite (2006-07) and versus ECU (2005-06) and VMI (2005-06).
