2013: Played in all 19 contests, including a team-best 17 starts… Ranked second on the club in minutes played with 1539… Helped a Davidson defense record three shutouts… Recorded a pair of goals and one assist… First goal was the eventual game-winner in the Wildcats’ 2-0 victory over Marshall (9/1)… Also scored off a blast from just outside the 18-yard box against Campbell (9/11).
2012: Saw action in 17 games, including a personal-best 14 starts… named to the adidas Classic all-tournament team after leading the Wildcats to wins over Richmond and USC Upstate… helped Davidson to a pair of shutout wins, including a 0-0 draw against Clemson to open the season.
2011: Tallied an assist in win over Appalachian State … started 13 of the 17 games he played in ... played both in the midfield and on defense.
Prior to Davidson: An all-state player selected to play in the East-West North Carolina All-Star senior year at Broughton High School … served as team captain … 18 goals and 8 assists as a senior ... selected as an all-conference player as a junior … honored as Raleigh Sports Club Student-Athlete in 2010 … member of state championship team freshman … CASL team finished fourth at Academy National Championships in 2010 … earned distinguished honors (4.2 GPA and above) four consecutive years … member of the National Honor Society … sports editor of school yearbook.
Personal: Played with the U20 Railhawks CASL team during the summers 2012 and 2013... Son of John T.W. Pace, Jr. and Mabel Pace … has two older siblings, Lida (23) and Nan (20) … majoring in history.
